About two weeks ago, Jackson, my dad and I headed to east Texas to visit the Garrett farm. Grandma and Grandpa Garrett were my dad's grandparents. They have passed, but their memory lives on with their beautiful farm. My dad's uncle runs the farm, and we are just so grateful to be able to go and visit when we can:) We had such a great weekend, the high on Saturday stayed around 35-40 degrees though! So cold, but at the same time, so relaxing. We got to hold less than a day old baby chicks, see week old calfs, walk in fields of beautiful clover...just a touch of God's work really:) The farm house holds so many memories, I am so glad Jackson and I are able to hear stories and learn more about our heritage. Here are the highlights of our trip...
My cousin Kristin and her girls...
My dad, his sister Pauletta, Nanna and Poppy...
Jackson with Nanna and Poppy...
Can you imagine the memories that were made here? Nanna grew up in this very house...
This is what warms the entire house...

Oh my goodness. I want a farm house. It is too charming for words. I love the shots of all the rooms at the end. It is so magical to think about all the love that has filled that house thru the years.
