4th of July

This 4th of July was so neat, holidays get even better when your kiddos get old enough to participate in different activities:) Our morning started out with taking Jackson to march in a parade that is put on by some families in our community each year...he loved marching and waving his flag:) The first pic is my all time favorite...it was taken during the opening prayer of the parade...so sweet:)

Then we went and ate at Cracker Barrell, and found this fun pirate costume for Jackson...he was in it pretty much the rest of the day:) He swam in the backyard all afternoon, we just had some awesome family time...so fun:)

That night we cooked out with my parents, in-laws, and my sister and Jonathan at our house...and then watched the fireworks from our front yard. Jackson was really into the little fireworks that Ben got...he LOVED the smoke bombsk (appartently these were a childhood favorite of my husbands as weel:) He would run back and forth through the smoke...crazy kiddo:)
