We had a relaxing July 4th weekend, a much needed one:) Here is a favorite shot of Jackson from the neighborhood parade that our church put on Saturday morning.

"The boy in the pic is my middle son, Justin, who is 9. The guy he's playing with is his older brother, Joshua, who is 21. Joshua is in the Army and has been stationed in Virginia for the last three years. It has been almost two years since he has been home. He and Justin are very close and it has been hard on Justin not having his older brother here. We suprised Justin with Josh's homecoming for Christmas. One of Justin's Christmas wishes was for snow. When I look at this picture I am able to see in Justin's face just how happy he was to have not only a white Christmas but to have his older brother down for the holidays."

I've been traveling a lot lately for work and I have realized how much I love to travel. Not only do I love getting out of my box and seeing new things...I love shooting in new places! Well friends, I am having the itch! Ben and I have been talking about choosing a random city every couple months to go to and meet new clients and due fun unique sessions...but this morning I had a fun idea pop into my head...YOU CHOOSE WHERE WE GO! That's right, email me and tell me where you live and why you want us to come to you!

There is no place too small or too big, too close or too far. It doesn't matter if we were there last week or if we already have plans to go there next month.

If your city is picked, you and your friends will be able to book your session while we are there! Oh, and of course there will be free stuff for the city chosen!

Your senior year is one that you will never forget! It is the year of transition for mom and dad...as well as the senior:) It is a wonderful time to capture and celebrate your education, your success, your new beginning!

Well, I've been thinking...I want to offer something new this year. I know that not everyone gets the opportunity to do a senior portrait session. This is an expense that is not a necessity...but boy is it fun:) This year, you will have the chance to sponsor a senior!

Here's how it will work: Call or email me at 325-437-7700 or Lindsey.Cotton@gmail.com, and give me the name and phone number of a senior you would like to sponsor. You will have the option to choose one of three packages made available just for these sponsorships. You can pay by debit or credit over the phone or email, or you can mail or bring by a check. I will then contact the senior and tell them the exciting news! If you would like, you can call them yourselves! This can even be annonomous if you choose. At that time we will schedule their senior session. If you don't know of a senior to sponsor, I do! Let me know and I can hook you up with one!
