Sunday update...

This morning started on a much better note. The Anestesia (have no
idea how to spell this word:) has completely worn off, he is able to
get out of bed (with help) and slowly walk down the hall, he was able
to sleep for longer periods of time last night (2-3 hours), and his
color is beginning to come back. The surgeon came in this morning and said
the incisions look good, and that his white cell count wasn't up at
all (it never has been during this process), so he is allowed to start
back on solid foods today. Overall things are going as they should.

If everything goes accordingly, we are hoping that he will be released
to go home sometime this Wednesday. I know he is anxious to get into
his own bed...the poor guy...his feet hang off the bed, he's just so long:)

Hopefully there won't be any information to pass along for the next
few days. We are hoping for a calm recovery:) So I will plan to
post again if there are any big changes and then email when we get back home.

Thanks again for all your emails, comments and prayers. Hopefully the next time you here from me about this, it will be to tell you that we are home resting:)

I'm so glad he is getting better and going home soon. I think we need to come down for a visit if I can talk my husband into it!
